William Darrell Curry

William Darrell Curry, 72, of Ottawa passed away November 23, 2018 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bradford and Hattie Ardella Curry; siblings, Dean Curry Dallas Curry Dewey Curry, Dennis Curry, Easter Dingess, Estelle McComas, Susan Scott and Brenda LaForge.

He was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Curry; brother, Douglas Curry, and sister, Beatrice (Del) Smith; children: son, Jim Curry and life partner, Kathy Fouty and great-grandchild, Kaida, daughter, Joy and Dustin Zeigler and grandchildren, Ardella, Arlinda, Quincy, Quinlynn and Brittani, daughter, Nicki and Arin Lauber and grandchildren, Mackenzie, Michael and Kendra and great-grandson, Xavier James, son, Brandon Shemory and grandchildren, Garnet, Briana and Daymon, son, Jerry Ehman and grandchildren, Mary, William and Jerry, and daughter, Sabillie who resides in Germany; stepson, Shane and Diana Miller and granddaughter, Shaylee; and stepdaughter, Shandra and Jody Foster and grandsons, Joseph, Greyson and Colton.

Funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 27 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Paul Little officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Military graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 28 at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV.
