Yvonne Marie Burgess 62 of Greenview passed away Tuesday October 16, 2018 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
She was born January 23, 1956 in Madison WV. She is proceeded in death by her father Dallas Jarrell. Yvonne attended the Greenview Freewill Baptist Church which she has been a member and faithfully serving the lord for 36 years.
She is survived by her mother Tennessee Jarrell of Greenview. Her husband Johnny Burgess, mother in law Maxine Burgess of Myrtle Beach SC. Her son Johnny Burgess ll of Greenview. Daughter Selena (Bub) Brown of Madison. Brothers Chuckie (Teresa) Jarrell of Six Mile, Tommy(Marilyn) Jarrell , Danny Jarrell ,Wayne Jarrell, Randy (Jeannie) Jarrell all of Greenview. Sister Drema Miller of Ottawa. Grandchildren Cody Brown, Sydney Brown, Brooklyn Burgess, and Kara Burgess.
Visitation will be Friday, October 19 6-8. Service will be 11:00 am Saturday October 20 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Rev John Frame, Rev David May, and Rev Donald Buckner officiating.
Burial will follow in Family Gardens in Madison.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to Dr. Stephen Bush II Oncologist and his staff, all the nursing staff on the Gynecology/Oncology third floor at Women & Children Hospital. Hubbard Hospice House, Virgil Underwood and Boone Home Healthcare, Handley Funeral Home, and to everyone that loved her so much.
